Town of Wellington Recreation
Welcome to Wellington Recreation: Let the fun begin!
Quote of the week.
"Perhaps the greatest social service that can be rendered by anybody to the country and to manknd is to bring up a family."- George Bernard Shaw
The Four Star Band
The Four Star Band plays every Wednesday from 10 to 11:30am at 3800 Wilson Ave (West entrance). Come join the fun. Bring the young 'uns to dance, or just sit and listen. This is a free event, but feel free to bring a donation for the Larimer County food bank. We hope to see you there! This is an event for both parents and kids, so parents please plan on attending with the young 'uns.
Be first in line, online! Once you have created a user account you can register for almost any activity whenever it is convenient for you. Snowing outside, kids sick, worked all day and don't feel like dealing with another person, NO PROBLEM, just log on and register at home when it is convenient for you. So you want to pay with cash or a check, no problem. Just drop by the Recreation Office (Suite A in the Leeper Center) and we will be happy to process your registration. Registration opens at Noon and closes at 6:00PM on the advertised dates. Online registration is available two days early and two days late. The Recreation Office will be staffed Monday and Friday from 12:30 to 4:00PM and Wednesday 12:30 to 6:00PM during registration periods. The office is open M-F but is not guaranteed to be staffed outside of these hours.

Wellington Recreation’s youth sports are powered by volunteers. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help out. If you or someone you know would like to work with the youth programs please contact Jake ( volunteer@townofwellington.com) for more information. Wellington Recreation is proud to be affiliated with the National Alliance of Youth Sports to provide training for our volunteer coaches.
Wellington Recreation also offers the National Alliance of Youth Sports Start Smart programs. Start Smart is a program designed to teach young children the basic motor skills necessary to play organized sports while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents. Start Smart sessions are held once a week for six weeks with the exercises becoming increasingly more difficult as the class progresses. Registration can be done online ( click here to register) or at the Recreation Office (Suite A in the Leeper Center). Registration periods end at midnight for online customers and 6:00PM for walk in customers. Jerseys purchased online are to be picked up at the Recreation Office (receipt required). Jerseys may be returned if they are clean and have not been washed. Refunds of registration fees will not be given after the first scheduled game.
Registration opens at 12:30PM and closes at 6:00PM on dates listed. Online registration opens two days early and lasts two days later.
