Wellington Recreation’s youth sports are powered by volunteers. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help out. If you or someone you know would like to work with the youth programs please contact Jake (volunteer@townofwellington.com) for more information.

Wellington Recreation is proud to be affiliated with the National Alliance of Youth Sports to provide training for our volunteer coaches.

 

Wellington Recreation also offers the National Alliance of Youth Sports Start Smart programs. Start Smart is a program designed to teach young children the basic motor skills necessary to play organized sports while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents. Start Smart sessions are held once a week for six weeks with the exercises becoming increasingly more difficult as the class progresses.

Registration can be done online (click here to register) or at the Recreation Office (Suite A in the Leeper Center).  Registration periods end at midnight for online customers and 6:00PM for walk in customers.  Jerseys purchased online are to be picked up at the Recreation Office (receipt required).  Jerseys may be returned if they are clean and have not been washed.  Refunds of registration fees will not be given after the first scheduled game.
