This new development that is being called "Grace Village" needs to be stopped. This is a church based project that is being proposed to be built on the sod farm at Jefferson and Highway 1. I live in View Pointe and bought my house here in 1999. It is called View Pointe for the open view of the mountains. We paid a lot premium for our west facing lot. Now the local Lutheran Church wants to build a church based community which of course will have no property tax's because of the church exemption. There is no infrastructure to support this bad idea. The towns water supply is already stressed and so is the sewer system. This will also produce a traffic nightmare for anyone living in View Pointe. STOP GRACE VILLAGE!

I am a local artist and I usually go to Fort Collins for First Fridays. This is an event where local artist have there work displayed or they are showing off their creative process for the event. I think that a similar event could be done in the town. I am looking for people that are open to the idea. I would like suggestions ranging from a venue, artists, what day of the week etc. Please let me know what you think.
